Description: Yutaka Udon Noodles 1.25KG (Frozen). In pursuit of the supplest, thickest udon noodles, these springy Yutaka udon have been kneaded from the finest wheat flour and spring water of Kano, Yamaguchi into 5 fresh servings, frozen for convenient boiling in just 1-2 minutes. Udon is one of the most widely-eaten foods in Japan. It has a simple, delicate taste, and can be enjoyed in many ways. It is great in stir fries (yaki udon) or in soup stock with toppings of your choice. Delivered frozen. Please ensure this product is transferred to the freezer immediately.
Tuk Tuk Method: Add udon noodles from frozen to a pot of boiling water. Bring to boil and cook for approx 1 minute. Drain noodles and run under cold water to remove starch and prevent overcooking. Add to hot soup and top with thinly sliced spring onions and other toppings of your choice. Alternatively, add the noodles to a stir fry to create yaki udon.
Storage: Store at minus 18 Degrees Celsius. This item was originally frozen and may become chilled during delivery. Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions or the recommended use-by date. The ice packs we provide are to maintain the temperature of the frozen/chilled goods. When arriving to the customer, frozen products may be slightly defrosted on the surface, but the products are still in perfect condition to cook on the same day.
